Sometimes this comes in different forms; family is love, not necessarily blood. Besides my granddaughter being blessed with an awesome dad, there’s LOVE from grandma, aunts & other family…who all stepped up. Including her best friends family…who are family (chosen family) to her. She truly is blessed. And a blessing. Gift.

Her first hero, first love and where she gets her inspiration.

Only because my son stepped up to both roles, I’m including pics that do not even say half of what that takes…as all good parents know.

From bottles & diapers… to laughter & all nighters, thru bumps & bruises, thru ages & stages…way too much packed into it all, day to day, month to month, year to years, so much joy..a few tears, but most of all LOVE. LOT’S of LOVE 💞

A good father makes all the difference in a child’s life. He’s a pillar of strength, support and discipline. His work is endless and, oftentimes, thankless. But in the end, it shows in the sound, well-adjusted children he raises.

And…for those who CHOOSE not to step up ⤵
