Grilled Kofta Kebabs
Me and my family gave these a try and they are SO DARN GOOD! Wow, the scents that filled the house! However, I must add…we have a great middle eastern market right across the street, who make kofta meat already seasoned and ready to use. And anything/everything else you’d want for middle eastern or Mediterranean food! It’s such a blessing! https://www.cookingchanneltv.com/videos/baiz-market-0193947.embed#

It doesn’t get any better than meat on a stick. Grilled Koftas Kabobs is loaded with flavor. A blend of ground beef and ground lamb, they are seasoned with cumin and cloves to give it an exotic flavor. Serve with hot pitas and yogurt and enjoy Mediterranean fare.
We like it served with tzatziki, fresh pita and a fresh Mediterranean salad.
Cooking Method: Grilling
Ingredients
1 pound extra lean ground beef
1 pound ground lamb
2 teaspoons sweet paprika
1 teaspoon ground coriander seeds
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 tablespoon cayenne pepper or to taste
1/4 cup parsley
6 garlic cloves, chopped
salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
In a large bowl mix well all the ingredients with your hands.
Then pop the batter into the fridge for 30 minutes to rest and to get cold.
Take preferable metal flat skewers and make sausage shape around it with batter.
Preheat grill to medium high heat and grill kofta kabobs for about 3-4 minutes per side or until they are cooked thru.
