Mexican Beef Barbacoa

Slow Cooker style. Mostly adapted from the stay at home chef; with what was said by the well known Chef Pati Jinich in back of my mind.

So…my daughter made this following stayathomechef recipe exactly. And it was DELICIOUS‼ “I” on the other hand 😁 🤭 😉 added dried (rehydrated) Hatch New Mexico Chilies, an onion pulverized in food processor, a dash of allspice & a dash of cloves. We did use the water from hydrating dried chili as the water in recipe. Mine was just as good. They were both so tasty and flavorful that we’ll be making that much more often! I also want to use that sauce in multiple recipe ideas; yes, I’m in love with those flavors 🥰 and barbacoa nachos below…with leftovers 😉

We picked up sides at nearby Amados Mexican Food. Refried Beans, Mexican style rice, pico de gallo & spicy salsa.

Now we are going to make barbacoa nachos with leftovers 🤪🏜🌶
