Taco Salad

There’s soooo many taco salad recipes. Another one of those dishes that’s up to personal taste. And I don’t follow a recipe. I put together ingredients I personally like.
Crispy homemade tortillas (I’m in an area that’s steeped in Mexican culture….abundant authentic ingredients), seasoned ground beef, beans (I use ranch style. I personally dislike taste of black beans. If its due to what’s available,  I’ll use refried beans or chili! Yumm), shredded cheese, lettuce, tomato. Sour cream, guacamole & dressing for topping.
First thing I did this time was make homemade dressing. Adapted from http://www.simplyscratch.com/2013/05/chopped-taco-salad-homemade-catalina-dressing.html

Crisp tortillas or make tortilla bowl.

Press in center with tongs & it’ll create a place for ingredients. Sort of… I don’t do the bowl thing, I serve in bowl.
Put together, top with gauc, sour cream & drizzle with dressing.
