Lily’s Sloppy Joes & Corn on the Cob

This means KID FRIENDLY
I know it looks like a small meal, but I was happy happy happy that she ate 2 of each. And she had yogurt for dessert 😀
(BTW, easy to change up for adults with ingredients like green peppers, chilies, spicier, etc..)

Lily’s Sloppy Joe’s

Ingredients:

2 Lbs. ground beef
1/4 onion, chopped, small dice
1 cup ? Ketchup
1/4 cup Heinz® Tomato Ketchup Blended with Balsamic Vinegar ✔
1 Tbsp. Sweet Baby Ray’s Original BBQ Sauce
1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tsp. Garlic powder
1 Tsp. Onion Powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. Fresh ground black pepper
Dash cayenne pepper
★ hamburger buns GOOD buns ✔

Instructions

Fry ground beef and onion in a large skillet until onions become clear and beef is browned. Add ketchup, balsamic ketchup,  mustard, sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne. Simmer for at LEAST 30 mintues. The longer it simmers the better.

Here I go again…too many snapshots of same thing lol
But I like looking at photos of #food aka #foodporn
And I tried a different “process” with green tint on some. Just playing around…now that I’m done eating.
BTW…not much is better thn fresh sweet snappy corn with real butter & sea salt ♥ Maybe #bacon & correctly grilled #porterhouse.
