I made my own sauce & it’s a meat sauce/ gravy 😉
AND I now add ricotta in cheese layer.
Okay ..and I couldn’t resist adding some asiago!
I couldn’t wait for it to cool. Otherwise I would’ve got a nice pic of a neat square of baked ziti…with a fresh herb on top 😉
I’m so glad I came across this post. It looks delicious! I had searched up recipes earlier this evening specifically looking for a baked ziti recipe, but found myself uninspired. Then, when I went into my wordpress reader to find inspiration for next week’s menu planning I was lucky enough to come across this! Thanks for posting!!
