For me and my house; we always do this…for the leftovers, besides…we like it. Yep, all over again. No recipes, just some of what we ate…made.
I did do something different with stuffing the turkey this time, and it worked! I use to close the neck opening with toothpicks after filling it with stuffing/dressing. This time, after reading it somewhere, I tucked the wings under the bird which held it closed. Well that made me feel like….ummm…foolish.
Had good mashed potatoes and GRAVY too.
Now it’s onto Turkey Salad, Turkey Shepherd’s Pie (via Giada on Food Network) in the place of pot pie. And of course…sandwiches.
