Oven BBQ Ribs in Foil

Delicious Oven BBQ Ribs in Foil

Preheat oven to 250°.
For Ribs –
First remove silver skin (thin, see thru lining over bones) from back of ribs. I find it easiest to use paper towel to get a grip on it.

Lay ribs on sheet pan lined with 2 layers of heavy duty foil, drizzle about a tablespoon of liquid smoke on ribs, then drizzle with olive oil and rub both all over ribs. Then sprinkle dry rub all over ribs, pat it on.
Cover with another double layer of foil, crimping all sides tightly together.
Put in oven, cook for 2 – 2 1/2 hours or when internal temperature reaches 160° (I didn’t even check mine, I waited 2 1/2 hours and temp was right).
Remove from oven, open foil, drain off liquid, turn on broiler (or grill), slather favorite BBQ sauce on one side, broil or grill until bubbling and to desired amount of browning; take out, flip ribs over and repeat with other side.

You’ll need:

Ribs, liquid smoke, evoo, and…(dry rub ingredients below is just a guideline, you can use a favorite seasoning, an all purpose or one made for smoky or grilled foods)
