Sausage-Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole

– adapted from scanning a few recipes, but I’d like to mostly credit Southern Living.

Including an easy to follow video!

EASY … and oh so good. I made this as a “Breakfast for Dinner”, which my family loves. However, we all agree, we’d have it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Okay, I’ll confess…even midnight munchies. And of course it’s perfect for the most popular… “brunch”!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound mild ground pork sausage
  • 1 pound hot ground pork sausage
  • 1 (30-ounce) package frozen hash browns
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk

How to Make It

Step 1

Cook sausages in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink. Drain

Step 2

Prepare hash browns according to package directions, using 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper.

Great for when you have more to feed, holidays, or like I did “breakfast for dinner” and breakfast that you can still eat the next day. It will still taste delicious…promise.
