Deconstructing (?) Foods

Well, that’s what I always called it. However, I found a couple new terms for it today.  According to Larry Clement, marketing director for ABC Research Corp., “The term for this process is either ‘deformulation’ or ‘reverse engineering.'”

I have tried this many times in the past, sometimes with wonderful success. Others, not so much.

After reading this article, I’ll stick with it. Yes, gamble…I mean it’s just food, right?
