In this recipe I used 2 squares of the Garlic & Herb…
I had fresh sweet corn that I had to use. I know I have previously posted recipes for similar dish….

This time I tried a couple things new.
One is I decided to boil corn cobs in water (for sweet corn milk inside) and use that water for the pasta.
The other was using the saute express product.
Both worked great!
I kept tasting this sweetness, but not too sweet…this different natural type, while I was eating. Then it hit me…that corn water!
So between the sweet corn, garlic & herbs, ham (or pancetta, bacon, prosciutto)…I LIKE!
Although, I would add green…like chopped scallions, parsley, chives….if I had “planned” this out.

I did still add some of my own seasonings (oregano, sweet basil, parsley flakes) & after adding pasta, I stirred in a little heavy cream & a little of the pasta water.
